ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Ms. Papri Das is a Clinical Psychologist (Registered with R.C.I), with B.Sc (H), M.Sc in Psychology and M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from University of Calcutta. She secured a First Class 5th Position in M.Sc Batch 2017 and First Class 1st Position in M.Phil Batch 2020. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D in Psychology from University of Calcutta. She has an Industry experience of 4 years, her areas of interest include working with clients experiencing Trauma and Emotional Abuse, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety Spectrum Disorders and Mood Disorders. Her previous full-time working association were with ICFAI University Tripura, and Amity University, Kolkata.

Ms. Papri Das is an Assistant Professor specializing in Clinical Psychology, currently affiliated with Sister Nivedita University. She holds a B.Sc (H) degree, an M.Sc in Psychology, and an M.Phil in Clinical Psychology, all obtained from the University of Calcutta. Ms. Das distinguished herself by securing the First Class 5th Position in the M.Sc batch of 2017 and the First Class 1st Position in the M.Phil batch of 2020. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Calcutta.

With a rich industry experience spanning 4 years, Ms. Das has focused her expertise on areas such as Trauma and Emotional Abuse, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety Spectrum Disorders, and Mood Disorders. Her previous full-time roles include positions at ICFAI University Tripura and Amity University, Kolkata.

Ms. Das is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). She has augmented her professional skills by becoming a certified practitioner of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavior Therapy (MBCT) accredited by NITI Aayog, Government of India. Additionally, she has completed training in Compassion Cultivation under Teacher David Midgley from the Compassion Institution, Stanford University.

Her commitment to advancing psychological research is evidenced by her presentations at various National and International Conferences and her publications in esteemed National and International Journals.
